Figured Out Families is a family business based in sunny Queensland Australia.
Our motto, 'from our family to yours,' really is an authentic statement that resonates in everything we do. As a husband and wife team, we design and manufacture our products locally and have the amazing support of our three teenage children, along with some beautiful friends who assist in the busy times.
Our original concept was Jeff's brainchild, who has always enjoyed designing and creating pieces in wood and metal. The concept originated at our dining table over a roast and a spirited discussion about what our family motto might be. From that evening Jeff decided to create a product that would
tell our story, and could be displayed in our home as a decor piece. It had to symbolise the things that we liked to do the most, and importantly had to have the capability to evolve and grow as our family grew.
That was in 2014, and living near Eumundi Qld, we were fortunate to be able to showcase our ideas at the Original Eumundi Markets until 2019. In 2020 we now have a busy online shop, we have created thousands of family figurines and sent them nationally and internationally. No two families are the same and we take great care making each one for our customers.
Our products now range from personalised figurines, to framed pictures and larger wall art designs and we have more ideas in the pipeline.
It's easy to start. Here is what we always suggest:
- Think about the things that each family member likes to do the most eg sport, hobby or the first thing that you think of when you think of them... eg outgoing personality,
- Choose the kids first & leave choosing yourself until last. Its always the hardest decision to decide how you want to be represented.
- Simply choose from the categories of wooden figures representing personalities, hobbies, sports, professions etc .
- Add a decorative tree or heart and an engraved base. You can also order a custom engraved base to display your family name or mark a milestone eg 40th Wedding Anniversary.
- We assemble your family, however remember that the figures are interchangeable so you can move them or add to the figurine if there is a new baby or a puppy joins the family.
